Sunday Panels and Closing Ceremony

First…I forgot a few quotes and funny situations that I start to remember only now, so there will be a ‘FedCon XX Quotes and Funny Things’ posting later.

So…Sunday Emma and I went with our Fezzes and bowties. Both cool things heh.

Saturday

First thing was us getting in the queue to get Scott Bakula’s autograph finally. That only took 1 ½ hours or so…but hey at least we spotted the 5th Doctor walking around :D There have been a lot of Doctors, Companions and Aliens walking around, I liked that!

So Scott. I just had to ask him how badly his hand was hurting at that point and apparently it did a bit. Aww. It was amazing, I think he wrote autographs all Friday until his panel or something. The other ‘superstar’ of the Con wrote only limited autographs…yeah.

Friday part II

We hang around, went back to the hotel, ate and then got in line for a photo with Paul McGillion. Very good decision that! He seems to enjoy those a lot! We could already watch him and he did different poses with everyone and it was no problem to tell him a wish, he’d just do everything.

I went up to him, got a big hug ♥ and stepped on his foot. OMG. I could feel my face go into flames. “Oh…sorry.” I managed but got a little grin and a “Oh, don’t be sorry, luv.” With Scottish accent. Then my brain kind of melted, so that’s ,my excuse for that picture lol

Friday part I

First thing was to check out the RDA photo line and then decided...um no thanks. Although at his side I’d have looked quite slim for once…ah well ;)

So we went to see Kate Vernon’s panel. I have liked her in BSG. Apparently she had asked Garrett to stay on stage or something (because she is a Fedcon Virgin) which I thought was very sweet.

The Friday should continue with Photos, hugs and panels… tbc ;) BTW I hate that I’m already starting to forget stuff. On the other hand I get some flashes of remembering funny moments hehe.

Okay so Wednesday we arrived. Travel…travel…blah blah ;)

Checked into the hotel and then got our Fedcon wristbands and stuff, went to Düsseldorf.
Yeah well lets just say I like Cologne a lot more…
Typical for us we ended up in an O’Reiley’s pub hehe.

Thursday the Fedcon started and I went as the 10th Doctor.

At 16:00 everyone met to get their Richard Dean Anderson autograph. First time in a queue this weekend wooo ;)

Yeah well I like RDA but it wasn’t really exciting to me *shrug*

We watched a fan film…yeah. Don’t really need those but hey.

Autograph Session. (A talk about Boris Becker, because a certain MC asked I was his sister, an amazed Wil, a little chat with Paul McGillion because Kate Hewlett can’t write and also stepping on his foot and an unexpected hug. ;)

Hi there! I'm back from FedCon and...no, I'm not crazy/er, there is a story to that heh.
Yeah anyway...tired, hungry and need to check a load of photos so...report and lot of pictures later/in the next few days.

Oh and I want to grab Wil Wheaton and Garrett Wang and carry them around in my pocket forever and ever ♥ Marina Sirtis can come too :D

Okay I have to say that pretty much everyone I saw left an impression and it has been mostly good ones. Some people are very interesting and I get the feeling that all Scottish people are a little crazy lol

Okay so...let’s start at the beginning :) (Oh and I might have forgotten stuff but I'm hoping wastexyourxtime might be able to help me out then. It was all a bit much to take in and...yeah).

We’ve arrived Thursday, spent some time in Cologne and then went to the Maritim to check in already. That service is brilliant, because I know from last time that you stand in line for the check in on Friday for ages. And you do that queueing game enough anyway during a con weekend ;)

Friday we went to Cologne first (idiot that I am was like ‘ah let’s get there in the afternoon nothing will go on before…) and found the perfect tie. Which took a while hehehe.

Ok then later some refreshing and I decided for normal clothes, since I wanted to go dressed up only Saturday.

A certain Biography is on the way to meeeee. Just got the despatched message from thehut.com yay. Need a good old Barrowman fix, yep. Concert DVD will be out soon too :D So can't wait...the Scottish Medley alone *gg* Orrr...when he talked about his dogs...aww ♥

And yeah since we're talking about Torchwood actors...heh.

Payed for Fedcon tickets, hotel is booked and already paid for too... Wohoooo :D

Fedcon here we come!

Guess that's that for my Cardiff plans for next year, but... Maybe a little weekend trip to Warwick/Stratford will work out...somehow *hopes* The home sickness afterwards won't be much fun but wanna walk along the Avon again...and see how far they are with the Swan theatre and see Warwick castle and historic Warwick and... *breathes* Ahem yeah... was talking too much yesterday all evening already...feel sometimes like exploding in the last days and not sure there is interest in err...other topics these days ;)
