Sooo Saturday 16th…. Concert Day!

Breakfast time and we met Paul for the first time…just as lovely, nice and fun as his partner ♥ I wanted to move in there really or pack both of them and take them with me. :)

We wanted to do more discovering and some shopping, so we took a bus into city centre, found the venue (woo) and then just browsed some shops, I found a nice jumper and a vest/jacket I could wear instead of my winter coat, which so was not needed during the day…Always pack too warm for the UK psh. .lol I found a hat that fits just brilliantly to my pine stripe suit I wanted to wear in the evening and yeah as Stuart said later going for a Marlene Dietrich style heh.

Hopped on a Sightseeing Bus and froze a little bit….and discovered where I want to move when I finally win the lottery ;)

Back to the B&B, getting ready and off to see the Barrowman. In row 1. *gulp*



Not much love for the venue and we had a place that was pretty far to the right, so even in row 1 I felt a bit too far away. I think I prefer to sit back further but more in the middle. Anyway there was a good thing sitting there too…hehe. Scott walked past us twice and…yumm ;) Yeah I know, me and gay guys… ;)

I liked the program better last year when it comes to songs but it was still good fun, well it’s the Barrowman, if you don’t have fun you must be dead! John being John and the crowd being naughty lead to fun, fun, fun.

The stories he told and the way he told them...well I guess you can imagine. I’ve been in tears from laughing so hard…Just saying: Ski. Oh boy *giggle*

Jodie Prenger… Wow! What I had seen of her so far I liked and I guess she really is the female Barrowman version. Only with a voice that does more to me than John’s does…well sorry dear ;) She was fun and I think I’d go to see her in concert.

Not saying John has a bad voice or anything btw… I just like…voices with that special something. Like Jodie’s….or Daniel’s…John has a nice voice and I love him to death but if he was ‘just a singer’ I wouldn’t really want to go to concerts I guess.

Moving on…ahem. Liked the suits, loved the dance of his parents, the spiderman/wonderwoman thing, the male dancers in drag…I mentioned the stories already.

Encore and wow glittery suit….niceeee. Loved that thing! He sang From This Moment for us and then…well wanted to sing I am what I am but people didn’t stop clapping and cheering…and the Barrowman burst into tears. Oh man…it was good I guess that I felt a little detached this evening or that might have ended badly for my make up ;).

When he calmed down a bit (I wonder if he had Gareth’s voice in his head…I know I did…*grin* The thing about Gareth going ‘Oh stop crying you big fag!’ at some point what made John laugh instead…dunno which occasion but yeah had that in my head *g*) he told the story about some TV producers going all ‘Don’t you think it would be time to change and grow up a bit’. Psh! We all screamed no and he was told us that ‘Mr. Barrowman says no, because…I am what I am!’ :D
